Meet Our Dentist

Dr Kristina Rogozhkina is excited to join our team at Sunrise Dental and can not wait to become a part of our vibrant Boulder community. Dr Kristina is of Russian/Ukrainian descent and moved to the state of Oklahoma with her mother at age 14. She was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry due to her own traumatic dental visit experience as a child. Dr Kristina is set out to help her patients overcome their dental anxiety and is committed to ensuring that they receive the care they need in the most gentle and caring fashion.

Dr Kristina first entered the field of dentistry in 2011, as a dental assistant. In 2017 she has received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Oklahoma University College of Dentistry.  She is passionate about staying up to date with the latest advancements in the industry and is always eager to improve and expand her scope of practice. In addition to the services currently offered at our clinic, Dr Kristina is looking forward to providing our patients with new treatments such as:  complicated extractions, oral conscious sedation, root canals, therapeutic Botox/Xeomin treatment for bruxism, and lip fillers.

Dr Kristina is passionate about helping her community through volunteer work, in the past she has participated in numerous events including Oklahoma Mission of Mercy, Oklahoma Rural Access Medical, Good Sheppard Extraction Clinic as well as functions at local hospitals and elementary schools. Dr loves hiking and spending time outdoors; she has recently discovered snowboarding and is looking forward to improving her skills on the slopes of Colorado mountains.

Dr Kristina is looking forward to the opportunity to care for all your dental needs.

 Dear Patient,

I am both excited and saddened to inform you that I will be leaving Sunrise Dental Care next month.  Some big life changes have led my fiancé and I to move out to Bangor, Maine.  We have both spent time in the Northeast and are thrilled to begin the next chapter of our lives there.

What is hard is saying goodbye after some very wonderful years at Sunrise.  I am so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to be your dentist; it has truly been a privilege to be part of the Sunrise team entrusted with your care.  Though we never know what the future holds, establishing those connections and relationships with each other is what makes the journey of life fulfilling.  I will cherish all the fun moments and conversations and I hope there will be many more to come for you at Sunrise Dental.   I wish you health and happiness!
Sincerely,
Jean Lee
